The 8th biennial national Conference of the Ocean Society of India - 2023 (OSICON-23) scheduled to be held during 23-25 August 2023, will be hosted by Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS), Hyderabad. The theme of OSICON-23 'Operational Oceanography: Science to Society', emphasizes the importance of translating operational oceanography research into practical applications that benefit the society. The OSICON-23 is expected to be attended by around 350 researchers from all over India. This event brings together scientists, engineers, policymakers, and other stakeholders from around the country to discuss the latest research and developments in Operational Oceanography. Organizing a conference of this scale is a massive undertaking and is only possible with the support of various organizations including industry partners.
